The range of the left hand goes to the D which is almost two octaves below middle C. The left-hand accompaniment is mostly root–fifth–root in various combinations of broken chords and rolled block chords. The right hand is generally one note at a time with some parallel thirds and a few first inversion G chords. There is a lovely minor section at the top of the third page. The sound sample starts there.
