Be Thou My Vision

The traditional Irish hymn “Be Thou My Vision” appears here edited for solo pedal harp by Gretchen Chell Cover and transcribed by Basil Alter from Louise Trotter’s performance on her Sacred Treasures album. This standard arrangement, less difficult than some of Trotter’s others, features basic chords and one glissando. Descending arpeggios open the piece, and the right and left hand often double the melody an octave apart.
