Prelude in C-sharp Major

Laura Sherman has transcribed Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Prelude in C-sharp Major” for solo pedal harp. This is the third prelude in the first volume of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier collection. It has been rewritten in D-flat major for fluidity on the pedal harp. The flowing arpeggios and light accompaniment that alternates between the two hands help make this an excellent etude or concert piece for intermediate harpists. Historical notes and notation notes are provided.
