Prelude in B-flat Minor

Laura Sherman has transcribed Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Prelude in B-flat Minor” for solo pedal harp. This prelude is from the first volume of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier collection. While this piece is more contrapuntal than other intermediate-level Bach preludes, the slower tempo makes it a great challenge for intermediate harpists. Sherman says this etude is “heart-breakingly beautiful and well worth the effort.” Historical notes and notation notes are provided.
