Lute Suite in E Major (transposed in D-flat Major)

Laura Sherman has transcribed and edited Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lute Suite in E Major for solo pedal harp. Perhaps the most well-known of the Bach’s lute suites, it has a sonorous opening movement and numerous, distinctive dance movements. Extensive notes on style, history, and ornamentation are included. This edition has been transposed to D-flat major to allow more resonance on the harp. Sherman has also transposed this piece in E-flat major.
