Blythe, Blythe, and Merry Was She
$4.99
Kim Robertson’s arrangement of Robert Burns’ “Blythe, blythe, and merry was she ” is for solo lever or pedal harp. The melody of this jaunty song is from the old folk tune “Andro and his cutty gun.” The arrangement features syncopated rhythm in the melody which moves to the upper octave in a few sections. The left hand plays open chords and steady rhythm to highlight the Scottish snaps in the melody. This arrangement can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Scottish Ballads and Aires.
