Composer notes
The arrangements in this collection were prepared on a 36-string lever harp, tuned to E flat. With two exceptions, all pieces are playable on 34- or 32-string harps, with the lowest string 6th octave E. Chopin’s “Fantaisie Impromptu” requires a 6th octave D; Bach’s “Prelude in C” requires a 6th octave C—but an alternate octave higher version is included. Lever changes are highlighted in color, and suggested fingerings provide aid to execution. All pieces can be played on pedal harp, however pedal markings are not included to avoid confusion. “Ave Maria” comes with a score, a harp solo, a harp solo octave higher, and an instrument solo part. QR codes to reference videos of all 20 songs are included.
