Deck the Halls/O Christmas Tree

For solo lever or pedal harp, Joy Slavens’s Deck the Halls/O Christmas Tree combines two traditional Christmas melodies. This medley is fun to perform on a concert or to play as background in the Christmas season. Written in the key of F major, the piece has one accidental and the score includes some fingerings. Techniques include glissandos, harmonics, and three- and four-note chords. “A great party piece that the crowd always enjoys!” says Slavens.
