Note from the arranger

This ensemble arrangement retains the lightness of the French Romantic style whilst enabling the solo flutist to perform the work concerto-style, with an ensemble of six performers creating a small orchestra. The harp part conveniently includes pedal markings and a cue line for the solo flute part.
