Jacqueline Pollauf has transcribed Cyril Scott’s “Lotus Land” for solo pedal harp. The most famous work of the prolific but little-known English composer, this piece was originally written for the piano. On the transcription, Pollauf says “The jazz-influenced harmonies are rather challenging on the harp, and the key has been changed from E-flat minor to C minor to take advantage of the resonance of the harp.”
