Barbara Ann Fackler has arranged the traditional song “Away in a Manger” for lever or pedal harp and solo instrument. Solo parts are included for violin, viola, cello, flute, french horn, B-flat clarinet, and E-flat saxophone. This unique setting of the beloved Christmas carol uses melodies by both James R. Murray and William J. Kirkpatrick, and includes a brief reference to Brahms’ Lullaby.
