Alyssa Reit has arranged “Spagnoletta” by Michael Praetorious for lever or pedal harp and horn or cello. The tune comes from Terpsichore, the 1612 collection by Praetorious that includes over 300 instrumental dances. Reit’s arrangement enhances the original with Renaissance-style countermelodies and melodic development.
