This is a such a joyful tune that just makes me happy when I play it. The arrangement makes sense and is accessible. There is enough repetition for it to feel familiar, and just the right amount of variety in the accompaniment and slight melodic variation for it to be interesting without being unnecessarily complicated.
This was an impulse click-n-buy in the wee hours of the morning based upon hearing the music in a video. Although those late-at-night, momentary decisions can be disastrous —this purchase was spot on. I love it!
When I first heard this piece, it reminded me of the conclusion of the original “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, as all of the Who’s in Whooville gather in a circle around the town Christmas tree. I’ve always loved how jubilant that song felt. This pieces captures that same celebratory feeling without the associations of religious or secular holiday tunes. This music, to me, just feels like it connects to the human spirit.

The name “Snow Globe” is perfect for this piece. I can just imagine the “snow” circulating gently around a winter scene. I’m not a real fan of traditional Christmas music, so I love pieces that evoke the the warmth and joy of the holiday season with a fresh twist. You will definitely enjoy adding this to your holiday repertoire!
