I looked at the 85Es when I purchased my harp from Lyon and Healy in Dec 07.

I find that Lyon and Healy harps are more easier to obtain harmonics on. Salvi harmonics are possible it just requires greater attention to detail and no margin for error!

If money is no issue then go with the 100.

I would explore all other options and leave Budget as my very very last resort.

I for one would love to see, hear, and play Davids Venus harps. I’ve played on various models and I say use the right tool for the job. The one nice thing I like about Venus is how they will go out of their way to custom make a harp especially for you. Its that personal touch that makes all the difference in the world I think.
