In my opinion being charged roughly EUR49,000 just for a wooden harp model (style 23) is just too much. Especially without justifying the price increase nor notifying the general public.

Though I have to agree with you a second hand harp can be bought, one must not take into consideration just the appearance but also the sound of the harp how it had developed.

Hi πŸ™‚ unfortunately I can’t afford a Salvi Iris gold harp πŸ™ so I have to opt for the natural finish. The blue flowers on the sound board are so gorgeous.

@ wil-weten, I just copied the URL of the Youtube video and pasted it. I may have selected the URL clicked the link button and selected ‘open link in a new tab’. This was my first time posting a video, thats why I don’t remember 100%.

Here are links from YouTube about the Salvi Una and Salvi Titan. Hope these help.

The harp lessons I attend, I always use Titan. The sound is really good, durable and less sensitive to the weather changes which we have a lot in my country. The string tension I found it perfect since I was not looking for a harp which have string tension and spacing of a pedal harp.

In fact I decided to purchase a Titan myself since it was at an affordable price range for me. Although at first I was in a bit of a dilemma because I did like Una because of a Celtic sound it has.

Yes all of these are helpful πŸ™‚ thank you so much!
All of the insurance company requested that the harp should be in wooden box, to prevent any damage. I have told Salvi about the issue and I’m waiting for a response from them.

I’ve sent an e-mail to Salvi telling them that the harp a crate needs to go around the existing box. Still waiting for them to respond since they’re closed for the winter holidays and will open on the 15th of January.
