I remember him playing when he was just a small child – he’s stunningly talented!
What sort of music was he playing (jazz / classical / trad ?) and was it a pedal harp or a lever harp?

I have the score to this piece, which is published in Holland by Broekmans & Van Poppel.
The Italian Stallion is famously sensitive about his short stature – I wonder if that statistic was doctored?
I see that I’ve neglected to actually mention why I like the fluorocarbon strings the best of any that I’ve tried, as far as those octaves are concerned: It’s because of tone, pure and simple – they are denser than gut or nylon, and give a fuller-bodied, more resonant sound in that area.
The forum-search is a good idea, though you should probably use (or also use) the term “carbon fiber (or fibre)” which is a less precise definition than fluorocarbon, but it has become something of a generic name for these strings.
If it’s a double-action harp it should be tuned in C-flat, not C-major, and it would be no harm to make the A natural (which sounds when the A pedal is in the middle notch) still be below A440 – which is the modern pitch for that note.
