Festival of Early Irish Harp

The Festival of Early Irish Harp will take place online July 25–29, 2021. The festival offers 34 live events with presenters including Siobhán Armstrong, Karen Loomis, Simon Chadwick, Sylvia Crawford, and Pádraic Keane. Focus areas include the early Irish harp, an introduction to Scottish and Irish harp traditions, recreating the music of old Irish harpers, understanding old Irish harp fingering, and historical Irish harp accompaniment. The festival is presented in collaboration with the Somerset Folk Harp Festival in New Jersey.
