Harpist Caroline Wilkins was recently appointed principal harpist of the Boise Philharmonic.

Caroline Wilkins joined the Boise Philharmonic as principal harp in 2024. “It’s been an honor to join the Boise Philharmonic and perform alongside these talented musicians,” she says. “I’ve been highly impressed with the fabulous programming, and am thrilled to be performing such great repertoire.”

Wilkins won first prize in the Young Professional Division of the 2019 American Harp Society (AHS) National Competition, becoming the touring Concert Artist for the AHS for 2019–2021. She frequently presents recitals, masterclasses, and lectures throughout the United States and currently serves as administrator of the AHS National Competition. Wilkins has served as principal harpist with the American Youth Symphony, the Debut Chamber Orchestra, and the Downey Symphony, and as a substitute for the New World Symphony. Wilkins studied under JoAnn Turovsky; she holds a Master of Music in Performance and Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Southern California.
