Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis., has appointed Johanna Wienholts to its faculty, starting September 2023.
“Lawrence [University] is an extremely nurturing and creative environment,” Wienholts says. “Dean [of the Conservatory of Music] Brian Pertl is committed to fostering a conservatory culture that is collaborative, inclusive, and truly unique.”
Johanna Wienholts also teaches at University of Wisconsin-Madison and is principal harpist of the Madison Symphony Orchestra. She performs as a soloist and chamber musician across the Midwest. Wienholts studied with Judy Loman, Mariko Anraku and Joan Holland.
