Teresa Suen-Campbell appointed to Lakehead University faculty

June 30, 2021

Lakehead University has appointed Teresa Suen-Campbell to teach harp at its Thunder Bay, Ont., campus. Suen-Campbell, who is an active performer and teacher based in the Greater Toronto Area, will give lessons both online and in person.

“I am very thrilled to be the harp instructor of Lakehead University,” Suen-Campbell says, adding that she looks forward to building a well-rounded harp program at Lakehead. “I also specialize in contemporary music, so some of the focus would be performing new works and developing skills in transcriptions/arrangements.”

Suen-Campbell, who maintains a studio in Oakville, formerly taught harp at Carleton University in Ottawa, as well as at Northwestern University. She studied harp with Elizabeth Cifani at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she obtained her Master and Doctor of Music degrees.

Lakehead offers bachelor’s degrees and artist certificates in harp. You can find out more on Lakehead University’s website.
