Isabelle Moretti to Lead L’Academie Camac 2016

Camac Harps has announced plans for its second L’Academie Camac, to take place April 16–24, 2016, in the southern France town of Saint-Chamas. Isabelle Moretti will be the instructor for the week-long event, which is open to Camac clients age 18–30. Five artists will be chosen to participate after the application deadline of January 31, 2016. Apart from travel expenses, all costs are covered by Camac.

“Musicians need time to work with intensity and freedom. I would like our Academie to be a dream week of music for outstanding artists of the future,” says Camac Harp’s Jakez Francois. The first Academie took place in 2014 with Germaine Lorenzini as the instructor. The 2016 event will follow a similar format including daily performance opportunities as well as daily lessons with Moretti, harp instructor at the Paris Conservatory.
