Emily Granger has been appointed to begin two trials as principal harp of two Australian orchestras, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (ASO).
Granger begins her six-month trial with the QSO in May, following the retirement of former principal harpist Jill Atkins. Three rounds of live auditions took place March 8–9 for the QSO position.
In January 2024, Granger will begin a trial period with the ASO, following the retirement of former principal harpist Suzanne Handel. Granger completed three rounds of live auditions for the ASO on Jan. 31.
