The Dutch Harp Festival (DHF) has announced its 2024 lineup. With a theme of “Night of a 1000 Strings,” this year’s festival will take place in TivoliVredenburg Utrecht on April 20. In addition to music in a variety of genres, the festival also features visuals, projections, sound and light installations, and instrument workshops. Tickets are available on the DHF website (€35 for adults and €20 for children up to 18 years old).

Performers and artists featured at the festival include:

  • harpist and composer Brandee Younger with her band
  • Welsh musicians Catrin Finch (harp) and Aoife Ní Bhriain (violin)
  • Dutch harpist and DHF artistic director Remy van Kesteren
  • harpist Alexander Boldachev and guitarist Alex Misko
  • harpist Tom Monger of Florence + The Machine
  • GRAMMY-nominated electric harpist Deborah Henson-Conant
  • Spanish harpist, composer, and sound artist Angélica Salvi
  • the Oorkaan Ensemble presenting a children’s concert blending music and theater
  • harpist and composer Charles Overton
  • the Juanjo Corbalán Quartet, featuring 2022 DHF World Harp Competition winner and Paraguayan harpist Juanjo Corbalán
  • Austrian-Ethiopian harpist Miriam Adefris
  • multi-genre harpist and former DJ Ranie Ribeiro
