Program summary

The Summer Harp Academy is a comprehensive program comprised of sessions designed to develop the versatile harpist. Harpists will hone their performance and professional skills under the instruction of acclaimed professor Elzbieta Szmyt. The SHA includes a faculty recital, daily masterclasses, private lessons, lectures, classes, and harp ensemble. The program concludes with an ensemble recital and student recital. Intermediate to advanced harpists ages 12-26 are invited.

Previously located at Lake Junaluska, NC, The Summer Harp Academy is now taking place at the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN. Attendees will be given the option to stay in the dorms, with meals included, if desired. Commuter parking is also available.
