Program summary

We offer a supportive, cozy program within our conference for young people to make friends and play harp together all while having the opportunity to sample the variety of workshops only Somerset offers. Experience the world of harps and music, wander around our Exhibit Hall filled with hundreds of harps, get inspired by daily concerts with some of the world’s top players. Lever and pedal harp players at all levels are welcome to work on both group and individual playing skills.

Our Youth Harp Program is a unique opportunity within the Somerset conference, offering a cozy and friendly space for young harpists to make friends, play together, and explore a wide range of workshops only available at Somerset. With participants from around the globe, students will experience an incredible variety of harps and music. They can visit our Exhibit Hall, packed with hundreds of harps, and draw inspiration from daily concerts featuring some of the world’s top harpists.
Open to lever and pedal harp players of all skill levels, the program welcomes young harpists ages 7-16 into a supportive environment to develop both group and solo playing skills. If you’re looking to connect with other players your age, learn new harp skills, and enjoy playing in an ensemble, this program is perfect for you! While we suggest this age range, experienced younger players are also welcome. While other summer camps exist, our conference offers a one-of-a-kind experience at an accessible price, tailored specifically to young harp enthusiasts.
