Program summary

Days will be filled with workshops, private lessons, group lessons/ master classes and awesome seas and landscapes.

The focus is on musicality and arranging. Each day you will learn new music related to the sea and sky in addition to focusing on skills needed for you individually. Includes a concert in a Viking longhouse and opportunities to play with local musicians.

Additional info

Sunita is the Convener of the Shetland branch of the Clarsach Society and a frequent performer and teacher at the Edinburgh Harp Festival. Retreat participants benefit from her 50-year sojourn with the harp, which included stints as a pedal harpist with the Minnesota Opera, Jerusalem Symphony and classical ensembles. After a musical journey spanning decades, she set aside her pedal harp to focus on the freedom and excitement of traditional music.
