Program summary

Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO) Mentorship Program invites international emerging artists on the audition circuit and early-career artists to apply for an opportunity to meet and play with one of North America’s leading orchestras. This unique opportunity is centered around rehearsals and performances of major contemporary and classic symphonic works with NACO. Lodging, per diem, honorarium, and travel subsidies are provided for every participant.

Accommodations are provided by the NAC. Participants receive a per diem. Some meals are provided in a social setting with NACO members. Participants are paid an honorarium. Travel is subsidized. Where possible, the program includes mock auditions, guest artist talks, masterclasses, and wellness workshops.
