Program summary

“Nurturing the Artist within the Harpist.” The American Harp Academy welcomes Elizabeth Hainen of the Philadelphia Orchestra as our 2025 Guest Teaching Artist. The Academy is for harpists that want to be immersed in their music, surrounded by a community of artists that nurture creativity and artistic excellence. Enjoy 1-week of intensive solo and chamber music study with world-class performers and dedicated teachers in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“Nurturing the Artist within the Harpist”. The American Harp Academy welcomes Elizabeth Hainen of the Philadelphia Orchestra as our 2025 Guest Teaching Artist. Harpists participate in intensive study with world-class performers and dedicated teachers, in this 1-week program that is designed to prepare harpists for competitions, auditions, recitals, repertoire expansion, and other artistic ambitions. Join us this summer to focus on your goals in a nurturing and supportive environment and meet and hear peer harpists from around the world. Founded in 2020, the American Harp Academy is held on the beautiful campus of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA.

All skill levels welcome, ages 12 to adult.
