Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles has appointed Alexander Boldachev adjunct professor on its harp faculty, beginning in January 2026. The school offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees and a two-year artist certificate program. “I will teach classical and crossover repertoire and orchestral excerpts, plus improvisation [and] composition—everything to launch your career,” Boldachev says in a social media post.
Throughout his career, Boldachev has led workshops at more than 50 universities, served as visiting professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Milan Conservatory, and worked as an artist-in-residence at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
