The harp makes for a stunning sight, but put it in a beautiful setting, and the resulting view can be truly breathtaking. Story behind the photo: I had the gig through the RCM Creative Careers Centre, and played during a reception for the Duke of Edinburgh, then got to meet him afterwards! He asked why all Welsh people are good at playing the harp, and he also said he enjoyed my playing.

What’s your hidden talent? I play the violin (badly).

What do you do to avoid practicing? Eating out a lot—especially tea and cake!

What is your favorite smartphone app?  Soundcloud—where you can store all of your recordings and people can listen!

What’s your favorite piece to play on the harp? My favorite piece has to be Spanish Dance No. 1 by Manuel de Falla.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be in lots of orchestras (with my pink violin)!
