The Tucson Symphony Orchestra (TSO) has appointed Benjamin Albertson principal harpist after the retirement of former principal harpist Patricia Harris. Albertson begins the position this 2023–2024 season, following an audition in the fall of 2022.
Albertson says he is looking forward to the variety of programming that the TSO offers. This season features performances of Ginastera’s Variaciones concertantes and Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro. Albertson says he is excited for his new position. “I am just glad to take it all in this year,” he says.
