Adriana Horne wins NSO Audition


Adriana Horne is the new Principal Harpist with the National Symphony Orchestra, in Washington, D.C., following an audition that took place Oct. 4–7, 2013. Approximately 50 harpists were invited to audition, with 15 advancing to the semifinal stage; three harpists played for the final round on Oct. 7. This marks a successful audition season for Adriana, who was runner-up in the St. Louis Symphony audition and then won the San Francisco Ballet audition last spring.
