The European Harp Symposium “Stellae Matutinae” has announced its next event, set to take place April 12–18, 2025. According to a press release, the Harp Symposium “celebrates the harp in all its aspects … and brings amateurs and professionals from all over Europe to Feldkirch (Austria).”
The symposium features 16 concerts, ranging from baroque to jazz, from solo artists to quintets, and featuring both young talents and well-known European harpists. In addition, 9 workshops and 5 masterclasses will explore pedagogical, aesthetic, historical, and musicological topics.
The European Harp Symposium is also accepting applications for the “Stars of Tomorrow” concert series, which offers performance opportunities for 12 selected participants. In addition, these 12 young performers and another 18 selected young harpists will have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses. All 30 “Stars of Tomorrow” artists will also receive free access to the events of the symposium. Applications are due by Jan. 31, 2025.
