The Aspen Music Festival and School harp department is accepting applications for harp students in its Orchestra/Instrumental program, as well as for the Aspen Chamber Symphony (ACS) principal harp fellowship. According to its website, the Aspen Music Festival and School offers the opportunity to play alongside artist-faculty from major U.S. orchestras or as principal in a variety of ensembles. Faculty residencies may vary; harp teaching faculty may include Nancy Allen, Emily Levin, and Katherine Siochi.
Harpists must submit a resume and video recordings of required repertoire; two recommendation letters are also encouraged. The application fee is $60 for applications submitted by Dec. 15, and $110 for applications submitted by Jan. 5, 2025. Applications close Jan. 5.
