I know a few of you have really liked the Vanderbilt Classic Gut strings. They have been permanently discontinued as noted on their website. Too bad.

Second choice to these??

The Bow Brand Burgundy gut strings would be quite similar, but Bow Brand would be a step up from the Classic, I think. Purer tone, better pitch, longer lasting.
