Slipping Pins/ harp going out of tune quickly

I’ve had a Thormahlen Serenade for a couple of years and had the same trouble at first. I called the Thormahlens and spoke to Sharon who advised me to push gently towards the neck with the tuning key as I’m turning the pin. I had to do this off and on with various pins mostly in the

I will _NOT_ do the “tap” thing anymore. I absolutely adore my harp, its look and dulcet mellow sound. I am petrified of wrecking my sweet love.

Hi Helen,
Please do call Thormahlen because they will have information about the shape of your bridge and tuning pins that will be important in helping you solve the problem, and they will know exactly what to tell you to do to fix it.

UPDATE:
I am happy to report that my “baby blue” indigo Thormahlen Serenade is holding her tune nicely. She is even warmer and mellower sounding than ever. Like chocolate!
