I’ve read several times here that wood tends to “run away” from a load. My harp has a bad warp and I want it to “run the other way” if possible. Has anyone had any succes in correcting a warped neck using weight, heat, humidity or other mechanical means? Mine is particularly warped in the area of the lap joint with the pillar, although the pillar is not nearly as bad as the neck in the joint area.

What kind of instrument is it? What make? Pedal or lever harp?

It’s a 30 string Morley made from two laminated pieces of mahogany.
