Hi All! Does anyone have a harp version of the Pas de deux from the Nutcracker? It’s such a lovely piece of music and I’ve searched for it without luck. Hoping someone out there has an interpretation they could share. Thank you!
well since dancers generally rehearse to a piano version, that might be the best source, although it will probably be too heavily textured for the harp – I am in awe of the pianists who do this work !! they must be terrific sight readers….
I checked with my instructor who plays Nutcracker in DC just about every year. She says “I believe Kalmus publishes Nutcracker and International Music aka Lyra, published a volume with all three Tchaik ballet music.”
I’m working on this piece right now, and I hate the way the arpeggios are notated beginning in measure 17, switching back and forth between staves to show which hand plays which notes. Is there a better notated version, that shows the arpeggios whole?
