    Hello everyone,

I have searched for Paul Baker’s pedal harp arrangedment for Over the Rainbow, yet it says it’s out of stock. I am also surprised that the only website out there that sells this arrangement (as shown below) has no PDF version available for order. Pretty weird for this day and age of technology, eh? Anyways, does anyone know where to find a PDF version? I would appreciate it, thank you.

It’s possible that the copyright holder will no longer give permission for more/new paper copies to be printed, for which royalties must be paid. Permission for electronic PDFs is also required and is usually more expensive than for paper copies.

I’m also looking for this sheet music as well as What a Wonderful World arranged by Paul. I messaged Vanderbilt and said it’s out of stock but will let me know when it’s back in. I saw you or someone else recently posted on a Reddit thread. Maybe we can connect and somehow track down this music? Let me know!

When there is a problem like this, I have had great success just using a piano arrangement. There are many different levels of difficulty, so you can pick the one that is best for your harp-playing ability. Since I create most of my arrangements at the harp, a fake-book version is usually all I need. Once the tune is in my head, I never look at the music again, and continue to improvise and re-arrange it freely, even during my concerts. Freedom of expression, ha, ha! (I do play the classics by the actual notes of the composer, in concert from memory, unless I am presenting my version of a classic, of course!)

    Happy Holidays,
    Balfour
