I am an adult beginner who is looking for a first harp. I have tried the DS Ravenna 34, the L&H Prelude, a Triplett 34 and the Lyric. I am hoping to get out to the Va harp center and try the Troubadour soon, but I imagine that it will feel similar to the prelude.

My harp goals are to be able to play comfortably enough to perform lightly with my acting company. I am not sure I plan on moving to pedal harp, but I never know. I would like the harp I choose to look appropriate in a Renaissance thru Victorian setting, as that is the time line of most of my shows.

    Any opinions are welcome. Thanks.

    Kate,
I tried both the Troubadour VI and the Prelude 40 before purchasing my harp.
