Are nylon strings generally the same? I own an artone lever harp, but there is no place that I know of that I can buy strings for the artone lever harp, as in that states that it is usable for an artone lever harp. I do not know if buying a nylon from, say, Bow Brand would be alright to use on my artone.

I would contact wherever you bought the harp. I can’t say for sure since I haven’t seen one in person, but they look like they would need strings designed for much less tension than bow brand is.

Robinson’s and Vermont Strings have string specs for many different kinds of harps. You could also try asking them.

Another option is always to measure the original strings and see how they compare with BB thicknesses.

These shops sell Artone harps. I’d imagine they would have the strings to go with them

A couple of my friends also use Bow Brand Silk Gut on their Artone harps.

I’ve contacted the 2 websites mentioned above. Am waiting for their replies. Also I’ve heard of a harpist using her Ravenna harp nylon lever strings on the artone.

I guess I’d probably compare the thickness of nylon lever strings and take the closest one. I could check out Bow Brand Silk Gut too.

    Thanks for all the help!
