    No, I didn’t get made over, though I could probably use it. My harp chair did.

    I’ve mentioned it before once. It is a lyreback I got for $5 at the sale of effects of the old San Juan Hotel and it was in so-so condition. My daughter had it repaired by a carpenter buddy of hers and refinished in ebony to match the harp (an ebony L&H Troubadour I). I sit on a Burmese pillow to play it, and that matches the new finish exceptionally well, except perhaps for the cat hairs on the pillow.

    Cats, unless declawed, have by nature the habit of digging into upholstery and pillows with destructive results.
