In that case, I guess I have hugged my harp and my guitar and banjo too; but I’d just as soon hug my cat, and she gives off vibrations too (purrs).

Yes, I thought I was the only one!

Generally, I give my harp a quick peck if I bash it in some way or when a string breaks. If I feel I’ve been neglecting my harp, I start talking to it and apologising, followed by a quick kiss.

    I think I’m going nuts…

What really matters is, did it kiss me back?

I talk to my harp, too. Even apologizing when I accidentally bump something into him like the music stand for instance. Always we should be extra careful when we handle our big musical babies, especially yours.

My harp is a prince. Gorgeous, tall, dark handsome. Two tone Ebony and Bronze LH 17.

No kissing here…but I have patted it on the neck!

    Cheers,

I doubt he’ll turn into a frog – He sounds more like a spider in that ebony shroud.

I love his name, by the way. I’ve thought of naming my harp but I can’t seem to find a suitable one.

this is something I have to assume everyone has done, pressed your cheek against the neck/body to feel the dwell after a good tune?
