    I am teaching Grandjany’s Prelude pour harpe No. 2 (Salabert Edition) to one of my students, but there are symbols in the piece that puzzle me. Many of the notes have diamond note heads placed at different intervals above them. My best guess is that these symbols are meant to indicate harmonics. Are there any other ideas? The third prelude has the same symbols in several places.
