    For What It’s Worth….
I recently played this gorgeous work. Originally written for 2 harps (and brilliantly, I might add!) the editor of this edition simply combined harp 1 and harp 2. This leads to some awkward finger collisions and awkward placing! I edited the part, tried to get fingering and placing Performance tested, it went over like gangbusters. It’s still tricky, but it’s a LOT better than the original!

Wow! I’d LOVE to learn a piece like that. That is the first time I have ever heard of a piece that was originally written for 2 harps that has been combined into one composition!
