I am going to play a piece called,Comptine d’Un Autre Été in front of my high school. I invite you to comment on my playing: is there anything good or bad about it? Please be harsh if you need to!

Also, are there any emotions invoked from my playing?

    Thanks

Very nice! Like Sylvia said, practice the righthand slowly. It would be nice to have a few raises at the end of the phrasing (I was watching your shadow!) Also don’t be so quick to set the harp down at the end.

I forgot about the emotions part of your question.
The emotion I felt was jealousy. I didn’t start playing until I was in college. You are so fortunate that you are already playing and already so proficient!

I’m the one jealous haha. In the future, I can’t wait to be professional like you guys..

Steady rhythm. Suggestion: Maybe you could pull out the melody at the triplets section a bit more so that the piece doesn’t sound flat throughout?

Thanks Loon Atik. I’m going to make those ones louder!
