SpectatorChecking some possible typos in Harp 2 –
1. Measure before rehearsal 8: RH, beat 3 – should the second note from the bottom be a B (rather than C#)?
2. Measure before rehearsal 9: LH, beat 1 – should this be an A and D (rather than a C# and and F#)?
3. 3rd measure of rehearsal 28: LH – should this and the next 2 measures be in bass clef (rather than treble)? Thanks in advance!

ParticipantWhat edition is your part? I have the parts from IMSLP (scans of a recent Kalmus edition?) and it looks like all three questions you ask are corrected in this edition:
1. beat 3 is an e minor chord.
2. both hands play a fifth, D-A.
3. LH is in bass clef.Hope that helps.

SpectatorThanks for the corrections, Colleen.
The edition was published by Max Eschig & Cie, copyright 1922.

ParticipantThe Edwin F. Kalmus Co ©2005 publication is a corrected reprint of the Eschig original publication. Many mistakes were found in the Eschig engraving. Sources: Ravel manuscript 1918 pub. E. Demets, 1920. Plate E. 1939 D. (later Max Eschig) and his piano solo edition 1904–05.
<1. Measure before rehearsal 8: RH, beat 3 – should the second note from the bottom be a B (rather than C#)?>
The chord is F#, C#, A#, F#. Confirmed by the string parts.<2. Measure before rehearsal 9: LH, beat 1 – should this be an A and D (rather than a C# and and F#)?
Both hands should be in Bass Clef on beat one playing D, A in octaves. Beat 4 LH in Bass Clef – D, F#, A, D. RH Treble clef F#, A , D, F#.<3. 3rd measure of rehearsal 28: LH – should this and the next 2 measures be in bass clef (rather than treble)?>
LH is always in Bass Clef.Other corrections:
Reh. 9 meas. 6, & meas. 8, beat 2. Harp 1 these chords are played “flat” not rolled. add [ Bracket sign. Same to Reh. 13.
Reh. 21/4/1 Harp 1 remove the duplicated note D in the RH. The D is played by the LH.These corrections may be published in the 2013 Kalmus 2nd printing.
The score posted on IMSLP is a Dover reprint of the Eschig publication.
The parts posted on IMSLP are from an older uncorrected Kalmus reprint.Corrected publication for sale. A two page comparison list is published in the Nieweg edition score.

One BIG mistake that has stopped many rehearsals:
At one measure before Reh. 30 the 1st Clarinet arpeggio should be played on B-flat Clarinet not on A Clarinet as marked in most scores and parts. Using Bb creates the concert pitches written in the piano edition.
Clar. 1 changes to Bb Clar. at Reh. 29 and then back to A Clar. at Reh. 30 measure 2. -
