Harpist Brandee Younger is the recipient of a 2024 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Award in the category of “Outstanding Jazz Album” for Brand New Life. Younger says she is honored to win the award. “I’m so grateful, and it’s feeling extra special right now, having finally just performed this album for the very first time live,” she says.
