Emily Levin is principal harp of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. She was a finalist and received the Renié prize at the 2013 International Harp Contest in Israel. Levin also won the bronze medal at the 2009 USA International Harp Competition when she was just 18 years old. In 2021, she founded GroundWork(s), an initiative commissioning 52 American composers—one from each state, plus Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico—to write new works centered on the harp.
