The Vancouver (Washington) Symphony Orchestra has announced an opening for principal harp. To apply and receive the repertoire list, interested harpists must email a one-page resume to orchestramgr@vancouversymphony.org by Sept. 8. Auditions will take place in Vancouver, Wash., on Sept. 17.
Led by Music Director and Conductor Salvador Brotons, the orchestra performs more than 20 classical, pops, educational, and family concerts each year in Vancouver, Washington (USA). Brotons is also a composer with more than 130 works. He is in his 31st season of guiding the orchestra’s musicians through world premieres of newly commissioned works, alongside well-known classical standards.
